General Surgery
A general surgeon receives extensive training in specific surgical procedures, presurgical patient consultation and patient follow-up care. General surgeons focus on abdominal organs including esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile ducts. They also deal with skin, breast and hernia diseases.
Most of our general surgeons have been honored as fellows in the American College of Surgeons (ACS), meaning their education, training and surgical competence have all passed rigorous evaluation.
